Welcome to the board from Fort Pierce, Florida. I heard Slick 50 is junk. I know from personal experience that Prolong is a great product. That is why it just suddenly dissappeared from the market. I wonder if the oil industry bought it out. It worked great for my old F-150. I had a leak I did not know about until I rode 100 miles and found my engine 4 quarts low. I had the leak fixed, and the engine never ran hot or gave me any trouble. My Uncle had it in his minivan. He was on his way home when a radiator hose failed. He just kept driving it home. About 50 miles. The temp gauge pegged hot. The next day, he figured the engine was gone. However, it cranked like nothing was wrong, and he drove the minivan another year before he sold it. The engine never gave him a bit of trouble. I wished I had it now.
