Intro
Bike came with just over 6k miles, Vance & Hines headers & slip-ons, Screamin' eagle super race tuner, Screamin' Eagle Heavy Breather w/ black cnc cover, some "fancy" led light kit, and JM Rokker saddlebag lid speakers. Not sure about the led lights, but love everything else about the bike. Only thing i've done is add a Mustang seat... the stock seat didn't bother me, but it sure hurt my ears listening to the wife complain. New seat, no more earaches.
Gonna be looking for some guidance on the sound system as it still has the factory radio and faring speakers, and the bag speakers were never wired. I already own a new Soundstream Nano amp (still in the box) that i'd like to use, but looking for some direction on whether i can get away with the factory head unit? Also not sure of the ohm's of the factory fairing speakers. The JM Rokker XT's are 2Ohm 7.25" mids. Not sure if they're any good, but since they are already on the bike I plan on just using them.
Anyway, happy with my new purchase so far....
Cheers,

I tell a lot of new comers to the forum to get: Factory Service manual and the Parts manual. Get a three ring binder and record all your maintenance, repairs, accessories, etc. This will be a great reminder of what was done when. And great material to pass along to the new owner should you sell and upgrade. Also know how large your fuel tank is, and record your fuel usage. I have an app called Simply Auto that I record all my fuel used. I use the odometer and use the fuel gage as reference only. I reset the odometer to zero on fill ups, and I know I can safely get 200 miles on a tank on around town riding.
Good Luck!!
