Hello to all, I have just finished rebuilding a 2000 FLHTC that was involve in a minor crash. After replacing fairings, bags etc I have ridden app. 10000KM with the bike. The machine wants to wander off to the left when I let go of the bars, and I can feel a pull in my Right shoulder when riding. There is NO evidence of damage to the frame neck, (the handle bars never touched the ground when the bike went down), the fork tubes check out straight when rolled on centres with a dial indicator and the crown holes line up perfectly when the tubes are slid into place. (I will get to my question!!!)
I am assuming there is a power train alignment problem. I will go through the horizontal alignment proceedure as per the sevice manual, but I cannot figure out how to check vertical alignment from what is outlined in the manual, nor is there a clear description of the results of a vertical misalignment.
Any Ideas?
Welcome to the Forum from St Louis, MO!!
mine has very slight pull. haven't checked into that yet. Maybe do a search on alignments. Should open up some threads for you
