Hey guys, you already know Im new here... but I dont have no one else to turn to....these last 3 months have been hell for me, My wife and I just had a baby4.5 months ago, which was the best thing in my life., butthen I got laid off, my car just got broken into 2 weeks ago, I lost me debit card and some A-Hole went on a shopping spree!!!,my best friendmade a pass at my wife.. Im just totally stressed out!!!!!!...... now before you start thinking.. I DONT WANT ANY MONEY... I AM NOT ASKING FOR A HAND OUT.... I am only hoping that you guys can keep your fingers crossed for me,... my wife's coworker, just recently won a Fat Boy from raffle-off.com, I like theROCKER C , so I went and bought a hundred slots, the odds are 1 in 3000, being that this is the only way, I will be able to afford it... I need you guys all to wish me luck... PLEASE I NEED SOME GOOD NEWS IN MY LIFE.... I am not asking for any money...I just want some me time...alone time .... HARLEY TIME!!!... so please all I ask is that you guys just trully hope the best for me....I really believe if enough people wish it for you.. it will come true!!!! Im sorry if you feel I have wasted your time.... just looking for some support from my fellow HD enthusiasts, in my time of need....
If it's good wishes and support iswhat you want... you got it. I genuinelyhope things work out for you.
....But .... If you have been following our forum here for a while, you might know a few of us...And if you know me at all ... you know what comes next.....
Are you freek'n kidding me? You lost your job, you just had a baby, you're havingsome seriousfinancially trouble, your best friend is ... well ... NOT your friend at all.... and your focus right now is on getting a toy? What are you thinking, my boy?
You want some good news ... I want you to stop, and take a deep breath and contemplate something. Look at your life .. right now...at this very moment. You're young, you have your health, you have a beautiful wife and a brand new baby. Count your blessings my friend! All that other stuff is just fluff.
You and your family is what matters right now ... and always. You take care of yourself and your family and the rest will fall into place. Don't spend your time wishing on a star to get through your days ... get out there and find the means of doing it. Go and find anotherjob while your layed off ...to make an honest days pay,and then go home to your family.
When the time is right, you will have your Harley, rest assured .... If you want it bad enough and if your diligent enough to make it happen. Don't waste what you can't afford on a chance to win.You gotta MAKE it happen. It's just only a matter of time ... You may just have to accept this may not be the right time .... but your time will come .... never give up hope ...and perhaps you should concentrate on the blessings you do have instead of wishing for ones you don't.
We didn't get our Harleys until way after our kids were grown up. We couldn't afford such a luxury when our family was young.Just paying our utility bills, mortgage and putting food on the table was about all we could handle as it was.Sooo, we paid our dues in hopes that someday .... SOMEDAY ... we could realize our dreams. We waited patiently .. working everyday .... paying our bills, working on our capital and equity ... to the point where we could feasibly do it. And here were are ... with 3 in our garage...bought and paid for. The best is knowing ... we EARNED it.
Itcan happen to you too...Don't lose faith ... Don't EVER lose faith! You can do this!
Boy! You couldn't had said it any better! I am new in the Forum. Still not sure how to communicate to everyone. I just bought an 883/2007 in May. I am very comfortable with it already . . . kinda wished I got at least a 1200 now! But I at least learned to ride on my own bike with more confidence having a smaller bike. Now I am looking for other girls in their 40's to go riding! Hard to do in Boca Raton. Anyway, your advice to the other guy couldn't had been said any better! My hats off to you for telling it how it is!

thanks, I really appreciate the genuine concern... about the job, I got laid off , but I found another job... not what i wanted to do... but it pays the bills.. and financially I am not broke.. I was raised to always put away for a rainy day.. and I had been doing that for awhile.. granted its only about 3 months of my expenses.. but its something.. the only reason I asked for support is because we all have plenty of negative things in our life.... Im just looking for a little positive.. nothing more.. if I get the harley.. great.. I definitely feel I deserve it.. if not.. I will just have to wait.. and Im ok with that.. just figured it cant hur to ask for some support... and I trully am grateful for your genuine concern .. you dont see that anymore.. thanks hun...
