Hi, new member here
New member from Massachusetts here. I got back into riding a couple years back. I was riding a Sportster which was my first Harley but last week traded that in on a 2005 Softtail Standard fuel injected, hence the screenname.I went with black with a stage one upgrade, a detachable backrest for my wife (she had never been on a bike till i finally convinced her last year to try it, now she's hooked). And i got the skull covers and handgrips, should look pretty cool. I was able to get the dealer to payoff the loan on my Sportster and got MSRP on the Softtail plus $1000 off accesories so i think that was a great deal and jumped on it. January in New England with a couple feet of snow on the ground is a good time to buy lol. But surprising the dealer was selling bikes on the days i was there, maybe not as much as springtime but they were still moving them.

Glad you found us. I just said this in another thread, but , I'll guess you're probably still recovering from the superbowl last night.
Enjoy that bike!

nhdwg, where in NH you from? I'm in Salisbury MA right on the NH border. I love riding in NH, do all of my fun riding there, great roads that are actually taken care of unlike here in MA. I bought my bike at Seacoast Harley. I've been to Kelly's a couple years ago but they practically had the bikes roped off with don't not touch signs, haven't been back since, they're not that close by anyways i assume they must have been alright with you or else you wouldn't have bought there but i don't know anyone who's really dealt with them.
I checked Seacoast and Boston Harley in Everett for my FXSTI and pretty much got the same deal at both so bought from Seacoast as they are closer to my home. A buddy of mine swears by Manchester Harley and another by Boston Harley. This is the second bike i bought off of Seacoast and have no complaints about them. Great service, i got both my bikes at MSRP and didn't get hit with outrageous "freight and set-up".
I wish i could say i was recovering from another Super Bowl but i work overnight, 10 pm till whenever, usually around 8 am. So i had to leave the 46" HDTV around 9 last night right when the game was getting really good. Whoa is me, lol. I listened to the rest on the radio and also taped the game so i can watch it later. I had to do the same when the Sox when in the Series. Sucks, but the bills need to be paid.
