Hello all!
Great site you have here, lots of good info can be found! I picked up a new/used(only 800 miles on it) 07' Vivid Black Road Glide on the 18th of this month. Its not the firsthdI have owned, first one was a 76'FLH the next was a 95Dyna LR. Then there was the metric bikes in between, the last one was 06 Vulcan Meanstreak, which was a great bike but I couldnt get it to do what I really wanted......a road bike, one for the long trips. After the last 500 mile weekend trip, I came home wind beat'n andtired, it took all of 24 hours to decide to go home to the HD again, and have know for along time the next one would be a RG. I can say I have had a great time working the last week and trying to get more miles on the bike at the same time! about 500 so far. Mods so far have been the Hogtunes speakers, which are a great improvement. Hardwired the Sirius and mounted on the bars using the RAM mounts. I also have the "extra" strip on the way from Hellsfoundry which I think adds alot to the look of the bike. Here's a pic of the new ride.
