96 Dyna needs TLC

Welcome. That's a '96? With a mechanical speedo?
Pulling the carb and doing a rebuild isn't that hard, and there are tons of topics on here and videos on YouTube that will assist you. It may not need it though, unless the bike has been sitting for a while or has the fuel line deteriorating and plugging up the jets. You can gently snug up the air/fuel screw and then reopen it 2 1/2 turns out and go from there.
I'm down here in Lake Worth and have had good luck wtih Delray Cycles, but that is likely too far for you. I'm sure you can find a good indy up near you. I have a '96 Dyna and have the factory service manual. If I can offer some assistance, let me know.

I have a 96 Dyna Wide Glide that needs quite a bit of TLC. Pulled fouled plugs that was gapped at .28, 29
replaced & pulled air filter & cleaned. Owner played with air & idle mix & now cannot run or start without full choke.
Any ideas on how to completely reset to see if it needs rebuilt? hard to pull choke and adjust either adjustments solo.
Any help would be appreciated & anyone close that could advise would this help the novice mechanic trying to help.
Thanks in advance, Forrest
