Greetings. 61 years old and live in northeast Florida near the beginning of A1A. I purchased a used 2022 Sportster Iron 883 with 1,256 miles on it a week and a half ago. I do not have possession of it yet as I'm having the dealer do a couple of light mods to it and they're waiting on parts. Hope to have it tomorrow or Wednesday.
Previous bikes: 1980's - Honda "matic" 450. Rode for about three years. In 2007 I bought my first cruiser, a Suzuki Volusia C50. Sold it during a divorce and later bought a Suzuki Boulevard C90. Rode it for about 2 years and then a friend wanted to buy it as he retired and wanted a bigger bike for him and his wife to travel on. In 2019, I bought a Suzuki C50 B.O.S.S. because my daughter was turning 16 and I knew she'd be taking my car all the time and I didn't want to be stranded at home. This was my favorite bike. All black. As one friend said, that was one sexy looking bike. Three years later I realized I was rarely riding so sold it and regretted it. That was 2 1/2 years ago and I just can't stand not having a bike. I've always wanted a Harley and this one was affordable for me.
