Gday Guys and Girls, hope you are all doing well. I'm new to this forum so I'm guessing I'm reaching out to people from all over I'm from Australia in case you haven't already worked me out, Anyway what I'm chasing is a seat for a 1985 FX, and a Speedo in KS, not MPH.
Any help would be much appreciated
Welcome from Sydney (not sure where you are in Australia). This is the Welcome area so you may not get the responses you are after re the seat (this section is more for introducing yourself & letting other forum members know what Harley Davidson you own).
Hi, I'm in Perth, the city that has bugger all, my bike is a 1985 FX the first EVO in a Shovel style frame, but as Harley does they made 2 years with different mounts
Welcome from the Pacific NW USA.
You might want to affirm exactly which FX model you have,1985 was an era of transition having both the solid mount 4 speed FX and the rubber mount 5 speed FXR series Superglides.
I don't know for sure but I think they may not take the same seat, I have an '89 FXR project in the works myself and owned an '84 FXRS years ago.
