Default Hello from Boston

I've been reading the forums for a while and decided to say hey. I sold my bike last summer, have been working on some health issues and *think* I'm looking for a Road King. A few weeks ago I wanted a Heritage and before that it was a Night Train. That's why I came here, to make up my mind. I've seen some great bikes and now can't decide what to do. I figure I'll be buying something used and am looking for something not too far from home. Anyways, I wanted to say hello.

Welcome from Nashville, TN. Best thing to do is if you have a license go to a dealership ride day where they have several models for you to try. Granted, looks are important but how it rides and feels to YOU is even more important. The bike can look good but if you hate riding it then why bother.

Thanks guys. I'm trying to ride a few different style bikes before I decide and seem to gravitate to the Tourings. I've had many bikes in the past including a 1980 ironhead Sportster and recently an 01 Night Train. This back injury will keep me from any long rides till spring, but I thought it was time to start looking (in other words I'm going nuts). There's no way I can go back on a NT, I need a lot more back support and comfort. I even rode an old state police bike with a shocked seat to see what that was like, but it seemed heavy and slow. I'll keep looking and when I find a prospect I'll ask for some advice here.
