Hey everyone! I’m Jay. New to hdforums. Got about 25yrs riding and countless miles under my belt. I’ve had 10-11 different model HD’s from a hardtail shovel to an air ride big wheelcustom & everything in between. My first HD was a 2001 Deuce and I loved it. Haven’t rode in 5yrs but just recently picked up an ‘05 Deuce in immaculate mechanical/cosmetic condition for a STEAL with 18k miles and all service records. 1 owner, heated garage kept.
I’m not sure where to post this, but I’m not too hot on the stock bars. Looking for more of a pullback T or drag setup. Any suggestions would be great. Also, want to swap out the cables, maybe for braided and I’d like to have them routed internally into the bars. The Deuce has real nice Reinhardt short pipes and sounds incredible IMO. They were on the bike when I purchased it. I’d like to lower the back end a bit to fill out the rear fender gap as well. Let me know if anyone has input on that too.
Anyway, thought I’d introduce myself and hope to get some feedback!
Thanks Guys (and Gal’s),
Jay.
