Brian here from Southeast MI Wayne county area and am Inside Wire out of IBEW 58.
61 and riding since 14 and since 78 have always had a bike in the garage
mostly dirt in the early days but streets later on in life
Still have my '75XLH bought as a rolling basket case in the late eighties that I rebuilt
Paint is a Ford factory color shot by a buddy because it was free and on the shelf at the time and beggers can't be choosers lol
Still like riding it locally 'cause it's a fun bike to ride just not for the long haul, a non rubber mounted Ironhead with shocks that are ***** and giggle at best is hell on the body then throw in our MI pot hole laden roads and a minimum throw headlight any night driving was flat out suicide so even after just 100 miles my body was screaming hard..
Just purchased a '17 FLHTP with 12K on it from a private owner who bought it new from Cement City HD and going to start playing with that which brings me here.
Was on the Ironhead Sportster Garage forums back in the mid 2000's if anyone remembers that but don't think they're around anymore,
