After 65 Plus years on 2 wheels of some type I decided it was time to purchase a 1969 Harley Davidson Flathead Servi-Car. For some unknown reason I have always wanted one and no, I did not purchase 25 years ago when selling for 500 bucks each in Walneck's monthly. I waited until now when they have become extremely collectible and equally expensive. I have been dabbling in my garage restorations of Japanese, British, and assorted other brands through the years, and have owned and ridden just about every brand on the market except for BMW, and no I have no explanation for that other than fate. I am looking forward to gleaming as much information as possible from the Flathead section and contributing when I can. Thanks for having me.......
Nice looking motorcycle.
That one looks already restored or in very good shape.
I remember seeing them in the 70's then nothing later.
Did people just put them away or did they not last?
And every one I've ever seen (maybe 10) were white - were they all white?

I had one in the 60s. A great way to get the beer down to the beach vehicle. Camp Ellis, near OOB. Rode a sportster, but used the ultra reliable 42 as a party wagon.
