I have a 2007 Dyna wide glide (fxdwg). I bought it secondhand with 14,500 miles. It is a patriot edition with the blues brother paint scheme. The farmer owner fell in love with my 2000 KLR 650, at 165,000 miles I did a full on racing motor (Wis 12 to 1, professionally balanced crank, racing rod, ported heads with big valves, custom ground cam, 103 noisy exhaust, and finally the air box mod.) He Rode at Forest Hills and offered to trade it for his wife’s Harley. I took it on a 500 mile trip and the deal was done.
What have I personally done to the bike. The bike came with the screaming eagle stage one air breather. Replace the filter with a K&N, and retain the football Crome cover. exhaust is the factory slash cut duels with baffles removed. Replaced inner primary bearing with Vulcan engineering upgrade, clutch housing bearing with Harley. Screaming eagle compensator upgrade. Screaming eagle solid primary chain adjuster. ULTRACOOL oil cooler. Dynojet power vision 3, and target tune. Replace fuel filter, flush fuel system, and replaced fuel injectors with matching pair. I run Amsoil, Redline, and Reline in Transmission. K&N oil filter. Added a fairling, Crash bar, And sissy bar bag, All Work was done by my hands. I have put 2000 miles on it in the last two months, I love my baby. This was my Christmas present to me!
