New from OHIO
Hello to everyone, I just purchased my first Harley, a 74 Sportster. I have had several bikes, all late model sportbikes. I have always wanted a Harley, but to satisfy my need for speed, I began riding sportbikes. I have built several, and am currently building a 94 cbr600 strictly for stunting. Buttt i have been searching for a Harley on and off for some time. I wanted a classic, pre 1980. Theres just something about an old car or bike that I cant resist. I originally wanted to stay away from the "wife bike" sportster, but I saw this girl and immediately fell in love. The fact that I only payed 1800 for it helped a lot to. Here she is. Remember, $$$1800.
So thats my new bike, I cant wait to get her cleaned up. For now I am not doing anything to it except remove the passenger seat, new pipes (suggestions please???), and clean it up to showroom condition. It already has a good amount of custom work done, as you can see in the pics.
All of my riding buddys are sportbike riding hooligans, and im trying to distance myself from that, mainly to stay out of trouble. If there is anyone in the Ohio (Cincinnati) area that would want to take a 21 year old Harley newbie under there wing, I would appriciate it. Im mainly looking for someone to help me wrench on my bike, and a good group of guys to ride with on the weekends. I am a safe rider, I dont endanger other riders around me, and I basically just love everything about riding bikes. Thats about it, please pm me if your interested in riding and wrenching. Thanks

Welcome, I grew up in Cincinnati (lived where Hamilton Ave meets 275). Wish I could get there again, there are a ton of really cool places to ride.
