Default new mem, 97 FLHTC, eng ovrh
Had engin failure at Ohio Bike Week in Sandusky, OH, sleeve came work out on pinion shaft causing circlip to be caugt by worm and oil pump drive gears. Reworked lower and upper. Seems to run good now. Now I'm having electical problems. Had some wire in LHC to short to ground, found wiring in fairing to have insulation rubbed off and shorted. There may be more wiring that needs taped. My battery voltage meter shows it is about 1.5v lower than the battery actual voltage. Now I'm experiencing cold start problems where the idle drops to below 700 and engin starts to shut down. I adjusted cold idle and warm idle according to the service manual. Warm idle works OK, cold idle fails constantly.
Need some help in resolving this problem
