Default Hello from Southern California...
hey

Just getting into HD's. I'm a young buck at 22 years old, and trying to find an older touring or ultraglide. Maybe something thats in bad shape that I can fix up. I only have about 3-4k to spend so my options are limited. I just want to get an old bike, get it running and throw some ape hangers on it and ride as much as I can

Do you think I can find a deal out there like this? Or am I going to spend alot more money on something?

Welcome to the forum.There arefew touring bikes, mostly basket cases, in that price range, so be careful as many quit working on projects as they lost some essential parts, or have no clue how to put it back together, and it would a costly project to have it hired. One thought, a sportster may be an option as they are priced in the range you are looking more often.
