Hello all, Ive been lurking, reading and learning here since Oct. I had ridden a sport bike for quite a few years (Kaw, GPZ 750 Turbo) but have always wanted a HD. Finally in Sept I liquidated part of a gun collection and plopped down the cash for my first HD. I purchased an 05 xl883c with stage 1 mods. Unfortunately, a few days after purchasing the bike a sharp curve and some gravel caused me to go down. The bike ended up on top of me and I broke my neck. Luckily I suffered no nerve damage and am doing fine after a fusion. The bike suffered no damage at all. After 2 mths of no riding, I did get to ride again on a couple of the nicer days in late Nov. Im currently in the process of installing mini apes and new cables and have many other plans for my ride. I am looking forward to spring, I plan on putting some serious miles on this coming season. Nice to meet everyone.
Ouch! I crashed on a dirt bike last year and broke a couple of ribs and crushed my collarbone. I know how it sucks when you can't ride. Glad you're doing ok, and welcome from AZ.
