Default Hello From Orlando >>>

Hello to all of you (especially SPRINGER!) - Been reading throught the forums for a few weeks and finally decided to join today. I've got an '05 Springer Classic and think it's just the best ride ever. Not too sure how much I can contribute as I have been riding for just about 6 months now. I live in Orlando so even though I'm a newbie, I'm putting a ton of miles on my bike. I ride to work almost every day and also put around 100+ miles on it each weekend. My wife also rides. She's got an '05 883L and looking to upgrade to a V-Rod soon. Any of you planning on coming down to Bike Week??? Take Care - LOWRY

Welcome Sean. Great bike, the springer. I'm glad someone has good riding weather, ours sucks. btw...that 100 miles on a weekend is a little weak, we do that running for coffee on a week night.[sm=exactly.gif]Good to see the wife ridden' with ya.

Welcome!from Western, NY

Good to meet ya, congrats on the springer. I'm down in Sebring so I can agree with you on the weather. I ride almost everyday, I just picked up my new 06 electra glide on the 26th at the new Daytona Harley and already need to schedule my 1000 mile service. I'll be heading up to bike week again this year.

Hey Snarly -
I guess I'm kinda spoiled down here with the weather .... you're right about the 100 miles not being too much ... I'll work on that. BTW, my wife's from Ransomville, NY. She's SPOILED AS HELL !!!! It's around 50 degrees right now and she's whinin' like crazy!

Streetglide and Sleepman -
You've got a friend in Orlando. I read the Biker rags all of the time and I'm constantly being reminded about what it is to be a "True Biker". It's not just about wavin' to others, cole-slaw-wrestlin', or poker runs. It's about freedom, friendship, and looking out for each other. Nice to meet you both.

Sleepman .... Have you upgraded your pipes, etc??? My buddy has a Roadking and told me that the Stage 1, Vance & Hines pipes, and the remap was gonna be around $1100.00. Does that sound right???

Hey Streetglide -

Your bike looks TOUGH!!! ... Care to explain the license plate???

Good to meet you and hope to see you in Daytona.

Any info/opinions on exhaust upgrades are appeciated - I'm rollin' around town with STOCK pipes and sound like I'm on a SEGWAY. Not to mention the fact that I'm nearly invisible to the tourists on I-Drive. I NEED TO BE HEARD!!!
Later - Sean
