Greetings all from sunny Myrtle Beach. Just picked up my 05 Dyna Superglide Custom (which I have learned is called an FXDC) and boy do I have a lot to learn!
Been a few years since I have ridden on a regular basis. Last bike was a 1983 Yamaha 650! Just a tad rusty.
Was out to breakfast with my girl on Tuesday and decided to stop by the local Harley shop afterwards. I think she thought this was an April Fool's joke. Looked at a few bikes and she (and I) kept coming back to the Dyna. Lava red, chromed out, Vance and Hines exhaust, oh baby! I was looking at a stock blue 06 and she kept looking at the red 05 and rubbing it, saying " I really like this one". I think she still thought it wasa joke until I bought it. With her full support.
Now, this was the girl who had no issue with me rescuing a Miata and rebuilding the engine ( you can have a convertible baby, just no motorcycles) she didn't squall when I bought the GTO, and had absolutely no issues with me buying a Sebring convertible for her. I never thought I would ever get her in a Harley dealership, much less pick out the bike!
I only have a few bad pics taken in the garage (yes I parked the goat on the street for the Harley) but I will post some good ones soon.
Thanks in advance for all the help and support ( I know, search is my friend)
