I'm new to the site, new to HD, and new to street bikes overall. I have wanted a bike for a long time and this past weekend finally made the plunge. I bought a 2004 883C with 3300 miles off eBay on Friday and on Saturday I drove 13hours round trip to pick it up.
The bike turned out to be nicer than it looked online which was a nice suprise.
As I said, I'm new to street riding in general so I'm taking it slow. I have signed up to take a MSF class in two weeks to learn all the basics. I've been reading ridelikeapro.com which has alot of good info on it! I've been practicing the Slow Race and U-turns and the learning curve seems pretty quick.
