newbee from Chicago.....

Hey all, just wanted to take the time to drop a line and introduce myself. My name is RJ and I live in the Northern Burbs of Chicago... Just recently picked up my new baby (the soon to be wife calls it my misstress) 08 Street Glide (Crimson Sunglow red) and to be honest I love it! I was told a lot of things about Harleys, but so far it rocks and I love it! I have been riding for some time just never had my own, so like they say about the Chicago Cubs, "this is our year!"This is my year, I went out and got one! I have had limited time to cruise with the bad weather here in Chicago, but I'm looking forward to taking in advice from all of you and cannot wait to get out on the roads!

Just checked back in and wanted to say thanks for the welcomes! Like I said earlier, I'm new to this Harley family but I cannot wait to be welcomed in and get my bike to be my own instead of the factory look, and cannot wiat to hear from some of you for ideas... I have already been emailing back and forth with a few members and love the insight thatI have gotten! Again I cannot wait to get on the road and cruise around the midwest on my new baby (or misstress as the better half calls it!)...
