Default New... kinda

So, I'm not exactly "new" to Harleys, however I am to this site. I sold my Ironhead Sporty today and am now in the market for a newer, big-twin. I've got it narrowed down to a twin-cam Heritage Classic and a twin-cam Road King. Any recomendations? I'm 6' 220lbs and will due at least 5 trips consisting of 500 mile round-trip rides as well as plenty of shorter and in town rides. Some of that will be 2-up with my 5' 2" girlfriend. Thanks for any suggestions, and please let me know what years to stay away from.
