"Servus" from Germany
let me tell you at first that i´m from Rheine, Germany.
(my english-skills might not be best, but i try hard, to enlarge my knowledge and vocabulary. ;-))
actually, im riding a 883 sportster low, reduced to 34 horse powers.
the german laws expect for beginners or new riders till the age of 25 that the bike has not more than 34HP.
but thats not so bad, it´s enough to cruise a lot.
our streets are mostly in a good condition and, you already gess it, they´ve got a lot curves.

what more?
i´m 19 years old, currently passing my A-level examination and doing karate-do.
besides the sporty, i´m loving beeing active with my friends, visiting partys and playing soccer.
i signed up here, because i think i can get a lot moreinformation from the experts here about my sporty and thereby refresh my english. ;-)
mayebe some of you are able to read a little german, so i recommend this sportster-forum to you:

i think thats it for now...
if you got any questions, let me know!!
best regards and "viele grüße",
Robert
p.s.
today, we had a specialholiday "day of work", so all people were making a bicycle tour, enyoying the sun, or went swimming.
it´s a great holiday in germany and i think that everyone loves it - especially the restaurants and "biergärten", because they can sell a lot alcohol.
is there any comparable day in the U.S.?
Me like you am learning a lot of things from the american people and of course, learning a bit more of english. I have a question for you, which is the greatest or at least the most popular bike festival done in Germany and when is it done?
Best regards,
