Thought it would be appropriate to Join the Forum since I finally bought my first Harley, a 2008 Anniverary edition Street Glide. I must say thanks to the members of this forum, as I was researchingscoots on the web I ran across this forum. I was originally looking ata Road King and members were discussing the Road Kiings, Electra Glides, Road Glide and Street Glide, needless to say here I am one monthand 1300 miles later riding one of mydreams. I have riden for years, always metricsdue to price and misconceptions about Harley's, last metric was a 2001 EFI Kawasaki Nomad which I sold about three years ago. Started on the street with a 1982 Suzuki450 GS while stations at Nellis AFB. Long Story short "I waited to long to own a Harley"can't keep the smurk off my face every day as I ride in the Arizona Sun. I look forward to discussiing HD topics and adventures on the road.
