Engine Still Running?
Hi, I was on my way home on the freeway and exited the off ramp, noticed when I let off the throttle the egine would not slow down, it kept running, also when I down shifted it kept running, I have an S &\\; S carb push / pull cable. Any ideas as to what I should be looking for to trouble shooting ? Thanks for any advice.............Al

Welcome. \\; Tech forums for sure. \\; First thing I would look for is anything binding the cables, along the cables and inside the covers at the grip. \\; Also take a look under the throttle grip at the butterfly screw that adjusts the drag on the throttle. \\; It's a start.

Thanks, found out that my pull cable sleeve was pulled way out at the carb side, some reason way to much slack, had to adjust at the throttle and zip tie the cables together. Again thanks...................Al.
