Default I can't believe I have a Harley...
After Riding a 1982 Yamaha 1100 Maxim (that I bought new) until now, and researching buying a new motorcycle for the last year and a half, I have surprised myself with a new 2008 Road King Classic! I seemed to have found so many bikes that appeared to be a better choice than a Harley including a Victory Vision, Honda Goldwing, and a bike I was really excited about, a Triumph Rocket III. I rode them all and found features that were outstanding in each of them. I'm still spinning a bit for buying this bike but I have to say it is a very handsom bike. I must learn to put the expectation that when I hit the throttle, I ain't gonna fly anymore, but that's becomming okay. I guess I'm understanding that line I always hear from HD owners, "It ain't how fast you get there, it's how you get there." It has style in surplus and my attraction is getting stronger daily. My wife just loves this thing especially with the custom colors that just came out for the last of 2008. "Golden Glow - Black Glow" So, hello to everyone from the home state of HD -Wisconsin!
