Sayin Hello - First Harley
I'm 53 and it's been a life long dream to own and ride a Harley.
So, my wife bought me my first Harley last weekend. Hmmm, I must be doing something right!
She's an 06 Vivid Black Ultra Classic. No additional options ( yet ).
Heart of Dixie Harley in Pelham, Alabama had her in stock all prepped and ready to ride.
I fell in love with her at first sight.
I live in the Birmingham Alabama area and I'm a Software Engineer.
When I can't ride my new Harley I cruise around in my Yellow 01 Corvette Coupe. ( I love Horsepower )
We've already logged 500 miles on the Ultra, two 150 mile rides and the rest from cruisin around.
I'm looking forward to a long and happy love afair with my new Ultra.

Well you certainly picked a good wife, a nice bike and this forum. This is a great place to learn a lot about motorcycles from many of the senior members here. Check the DIY and Tech threads. Good luck with the new ride. KB

Hello trudge, I can relate to you, 50 years old here and my first harley was purchased last saturday at Saint Croix Harley Davidson, New Richmond Wis. it's not new, a 1993 fxstc black in color, and I just joined here a few days ago, still trying to find my way around hahahaha.
I'm so excited about the bike, waited 30 years and raised the kid, now it's my turn to have my dream........
