Hi from middle TN, \\; First owned HD, bought a 2008 1200XL (Sportie) in mid May. \\; Stock other than the 1/2 windshield, engine guard, tack kit, wire wheels, solo seat and rack. \\; Currently just passed 2500 miles. \\;

Prior riding was on other people's superglides in the late 1980's (bikes were late 70's early 80's models) in Cleveland OH. \\; It took me 3 years to save up enough cash, and I was trying to decide on a new 1200 or a used FXDL.

I have a long roundtrip to work, 75 miles in 1 day. \\; It is great pointing out gas went up .05 per gallon, this is going to cost me 50 cents extra a week in gas. \\; People who know will point out the fun riding days. \\; The power and handling is great. \\; I ride from \\;farming to hilly areas into Nashville.
