Got licensed and my first bike in June. It was a small bike that I knew I would grow out of, I just did not realize how quick. Always knew I wanted a Harley. found myself gravitating toward Dynas. Started shopping the Dynal Low Rider as HD indicated "easy to ride/good handling" and being a new rider that means something.
Was turned to the Super Glide Custom by sales as they said it would be just as easy to ride as I am 5'10" with long legs.
Went to drop a deposit and new sales gets me hooked on the Fat Bob. This bike speaks to me
Can't seem to get a test ride on either to compare the ride and not sure if the front controls are for more advanced riders?
How does the Fat Bob compare in ease of handling to the Low Rider and Super Glide Custom?
Thanks for your help
Jim
Hey all !! Just joined myself, greetings from north of the border
Harlyhog, I picked that bike as well. I'm also 5'10", with a 32" inseam, and have no troubles with the front controls. It's a small gripe, but if I was about an inch closer would be perfect, but it is certainly comfortable with the stock seat. That being said, my gf got a touring saddle, and it raises you up, and a touch forward, which fit me like a glove for the longer rides. With your admittedly long legs, perhaps the stock saddle would be perfect?
Which colour you going with?
