Hi there - new member here from Dublin. Just bought a new sportster 883 custom. Have ordered the deluxe touring seat for it. Thinking about doing a bit of customising but not too much as I will probably upgrade to a bigger Harley in 2 or three years. Anyone any suggestions as to what additions would be nice on this bike? Also, how much does a new one cost in the US? I paid 11300 euro which equates to 14100 USD. That included an auxillary light kit, sports windshield and chrome engine bars!

Dublin....greeting from utah! Do they let you change pipes in Dublin?Thats usually the first thing anyone does here(w/bigger jets).Do you still have stock seats?Mine is made by mustang, looks good, solid seat. Some knurled grips matching pegs, what about wheels'?Gadz
i get carried away.....welcome aboard!
Have just ordered a set of screaming eagle 11 slashdown pipes for the bike. No noise regulations in Ireland (not yet anyway but will probably happen soon - we've just banned smoking from all public places, and places of employment!)
Hi Ironhead - good to see the Irish are still fighting!
Notre Dame played US Navy in Dublin as an exhibition game about 8 or 10 years ago, which I was at - cool game!
Welcome from North Dakota. I've been to Ireland twice to visit friends there, and there isn't a more beautiful place on this earth IMO, or more friendly people. I'd agree with changing the seat.
