Welcome from Jax, FL! I would recommend taking a look at the Road King. It's a great bike that you can pull the windshield off for wind in your face or put it on for more protection. The saddlebags mean you can take stuff with you and you can put some pretty comfy saddles on.

Hello and welcome to the forums from Georgia. There are lots of good bikes for two up riding in the showrooms, just sit on a few until you find the one that fits. Then ask for a test ride.
