Hi people, I've just joyned the forum, so I've to introduce myself.
I'm writeing from Milan in Italy and I really love bikes and big twins in particular
I've owned 3 HD till now, a sporty 883, a Softail springer and a RK both 1450.
Actually I'm not rideing an harley, because my wife convinced me to try a BMW R 1200 RT, that is also a twin but ... unfortunately not an harley.
So I'd like to trade it an come back to Harley.
Whitch one? I'm considering to go for a Dyna superglide or bob I don't know. Unfortunately the company excluded my favourite, the wide glide, from the present catalogue.
But I have some doubts, becaude even if i love the Dyna shape, I also love two up rideing and touring with my wife, with a lot of stuff. So sometimes I think that an Electra would be better.
Any suggestion will be very appreciated.
Stefano
P.S. Sorry if I make some mistakes writeing in english
My thoughts are that the Glide would be the one to choose if you want to do much 2 up touring.
I have a Street Bob and a BMW R1150GS,my wife has been on the Bob once and will not go on it again but she is happy to cover hundreds of miles on the back of the BMW,you can improve the Dyna range for 2 up comfort but it will never match a glide.
For me the BMW is a very functional piece of machinery but it will never have the heart and soul of the Harley.
