Just happened across this board and thought I'd drop in. I 58 and just got my first harley about 4 mo ago. It's a 98 xl1200s. I've ridden bikes since I was 16, just never a harley. I never knew what I was missing, I love the sound of'em. I most likely will upgrade to a big twin soon, but the sportster is so great around town. Anyone have ideas, I like the nighttrains a lot, but I'm not stuck on them.
Anyway, I'm sure that I'll learn a lot here, I look forward to it.
Hello don,
Seem we have a few things in common. I also reside in the republic of Texas. Also thought I would finally register today after many hours of snooping around this site( lots of great info out there). Thirdly I'm the very proud owner of a 2007 Night Train that I LOVE. Very out front face in the wind ride. For me (29yoa) wouldn't have it any other way. I've had since june and I can't wait to acumulate a small fortune so I cam customize the @$#* out it. Anyway HELLO ALL and thats my 2 cents for the day.
