Wow, great forum! It's kinda funny how so many new members are from around SoCal, I guess we've got Harley fever!
A little bit about myself: For YEARS I have admired Harleys, and finally I have decided to finally do it! So I don't have a bike yet, I figure I better learn to ride first so I can test ride (or rent?) before I buy. I don't really care for a fast bike (as long as I can eventually hit 80 MPH I'm happy), I'm much more interested in a comfortable ride for my lady and I (who is more and more pushing me to buy a bike!).
Anyway, I'm happy to have come across this site, you guys are a good bunch of people! I'll be picking your brain as to what to buy /etc later on, right now I'll be checking the forum archives for similar advice.
RE: Hellooooo from SoCal (apparently I'm not alone!)
Welcome from Florida ..... I'm a newbie rider too, just got my first Harley (06 Softail Deluxe) last December. I learn alot from this forum especially the chrome mods.
