Newbie here just learning the ropes of the forum.

Just bought an 09 Harley 883L Sportster and am lovin' it as you can imagine!

Just to give you a preview of what I went thru to get my first Harley:

1. started with a small Yamaha scooter then sold it
2. went to a honda rebel 250 then sold it
3. then went to a honda shadow spirit 750 then sold it
4. then finally went to my 09 harley 883L
5. in between all that I did my motorcycle safety course

Lovin' my first Harley at 49 years old!

Can't wait to see some of you fellow Harley riders on the road and waving hello. I love the photos and seeing the various different models and styles everyone has.

Any So Cal Sportster groups around, let me know. I'm in the San Fernando Valley area and would like to hookup for local rides.

Thanks for the welcome. I look forward to many visits to the site in the future. Just getting my feet wet when it comes to a Harley bike.
