Hi to all. New to this fourm although I have been lurking for a while , checking out various items. Had my 2006 Heritage for about a month now and really love it. Had the dealer install Vance & Hines Big Radius. I like the look but I don't think they are loud enough for me ( I like them loud ) . Aside from pulling out the existing baffles , does anyone know if there is another baffle ( from Vance & Hines ) that can be installed to increase the sound ? I don't want to run without them and loose back pressure. How about torque cones .... would they still sound the same ?? Dealer also installed the Screaming Eagle Air kit but said it didn't need to be rejetted. If I blip the throttle real quick it coughs through the carb. I'm thinking that it needs rejetting.Any suggestions would be appreciated.
By the way my last ride was a Vstar 1100, not bad but really no comparrison. A lot of the guys I ride with own HD.... now I know why !! Already prettying it up with my hard earned cash .
I have fuel injection 04 deuce with big radius. I took baffles out.
If i blip my throttle quick it couchs too but i think mine is thru exhoust not carb. Mine is not a backfire cough just a cant handle that much fuel at low rpm cough.
Dealer lied if he says it does not need to be rejetted. With the stage one kit that you got you always need rejett is my understanding. It sounds like your bike may be lean.
Post in the tech section and maybe someone might be able to help more.
