I use either 91 or 93 octane and I use Mobile 1 15W-50 synthetic in all 3 holes but I have an 88 ci twin cam. I would ask your question on the tech forum.
Highest octane available, i use 94. Run AMSOIL 20-50 synthetic in Motor, 10-40 in Primary and 75-90 Gear-lube in Tranny. Welcome from Surrey B.C. CANADA

If your previous owners were using synthetic, then you should be able to take your pick. I've heard that you don't want to put synth in an other engine that's had nothing but regular oil in it. Guess the synth tends to finds all the potential leak spots?
