Hello to all from York, PA. from a first time poster. I've been reading this forum for a short time after making the decision of this, being "the year" to take the plunge and buy a Harley (Something I've always wanted). I've had my MC endorsement since I have been 16 and rode (Metric Bikes) up until the time I got married and started a family. Then of course other things took priority. Several years ago I got back into riding, and have been riding a Yamaha Road Star. Great bike, absolutely no complaints, but it wasn't a Harley and I was looking for something with a few more "creature comforts" like a fairing and radio. You know, what in my younger days we called a "Geezer Glide"
. Anyway, after some research here, and my personal taste and "wants", I decided on a Road Glide (yeah, yeah...save the "fugly shark nose" comments...I like it and that's all that matters!! 
!). Didn't have quite enough "scratch" to swing a new one, so I settled on a 06 with relatively low miles. Picked her up yesterday. Paint job is a little on the "wild" side for an old fart (geezer) like me, but that can always be changed down the road. Anyway, in the mean time, I'll be absorbing as much information as the kind people here will give me. Can't wait for the nice weather to arrive!
