New Guy from DFW
My name is Roadblock, though some call me Mud Puppy (long story).
I started riding when I was 16 on crotch rockets, but during my time in the US Navy, I matured (ripe age of 21) and bought a Harley. That one was a 2004 FXSTI. Rode the hell out of it for just under 5 years and 55K miles, and upgraded to a FLTR. I spent the majority of my life in the Dallas, Texas area, and after I left the Navy, I came back, and now live in McKinney. I ride with the local HOG Chapter, and I am a road captain apprentice. I was told that if I make it before my next birthday, I will be the youngest in HOG, so that will be cool. I am 26 now, so if anyone has heard of a younger one, let me know, so I can let the HOG regional director lady know. I love riding, and since I am single, I get to do lots of it. I have had my new bike for 3 weeks now (only 2 were rideable weeks) I have just over 1600 miles on it. The bike is pretty much stock, however, I am awaiting my new handlebars to come in (16" Apes), so I can get my arms back in the wind. On my first Harley, I had 18" Apes, and I have found that I have problems while riding with low bars. I am 6'3, so the stockers don't quite work for me. I have read this forum for some time, so I look forward to more information and discussions.
