New HD owner from Iowa.
Just bought a 2003 Softail Standard a couple weeks ago, upgrading from my starter bike (in poor shape '84 Yamaha Midnight Maxim with TOO MANY miles on it). Almost bought a 2003 WideGlide (long story there), but ended up with the Softail. Couldn't be happier!
I lurked on the forums for a while trying to determine what to get. Open thanks to all who posted information. It helped me.
