Hello all, I have been reading the forum for a bit now but since I did not own an Harley I have not registered. Well that changed.
I have been riding little over a year and wife decided she wanted to ride. She got her license and took over my Yam 650. Well you know the saying that when you see a bike that is the one for you, you will know it? Well that's true.
We had an hour to kill before meeting family and decided to browse the HD dealership. She saw a softail heritage in purple flake / brilliant silver. She loved it but we left. 3 weeks later, we drove it home. I have a new Yam 950 tourer and the Softail is smooth as butter riding. WoW is all I can say.
It will be a year or so before I get an HD for myself, looking at the Cross Bones. But at least the wife is now an HD rider and loving it.
Congrats on your bike and Welcome to the forum.
