I just purchased a 2007 Harley Street Bob (matte black).
It is the most beautiful thing I have every seen. It has 1850 miles on it and besides maybe needing new brake pads. (They seems solid but they have rust.) I've never changed brakes on a motorcycle, but with the manuals and the wealth of information available on this forum, I should be ok.
I want to put some forward controls on her, new grips, move the license plate and my buddy and I are going to make some wrapped pipes.
Other than that, the bike is perfect. The black with the occasional splash of chrome/billet. Beautiful and understated.
Nice bike, you have plenty of good riding country. Breaks are not bad to change, I have an 07 bob too. Just changed mine last fall. Get yourself a service manual, well worth the $$
