Hey all. Been lurking for awhile but now I'm legit. Picked up my new 06 FXSTI last night in Fort Wayne. Needless to say that with my luck.........It started to pour about halfway home, (about a 45 mile ride home from the dealer) so I stopped at a gas station to let the rain pass. About 15 minutes later, I took off again and the clouds opened up again. Screw it!!! Just kept riding this time till I pulled into the garage where I promptly took my boots off and dumped the water out. LOL. Now I get to spend some time cleaning tonight.
Anyway, great forum and glad to be here. Have already gained some useful information.

Congrats and welcome..from central Illinois. I am in the process right now of trying to find rain gear so I am not caugth in the same predicimate. Ride safe! [sm=americanasmiley.gif]

M U S T G E T R A I N G E A R....... Seriously though, I didn't expect to get caught in the rain lastnight but I did. Dang weathermen anyways. Wasn't supposed to rain till after 9p.m. or so. It started at 5 grrrr. Well I'll be going to Hudson Leather Factory in Pioneer Ohio this Saturday as they have their annual Memorial day open house, lots-o-stuff on sale.
