Default Help!! Turn Signal Problems
Hey Ya'll. I ride a 2000 XL1200 that has been converted to a "C". Everything was wonderful until today. The left turn signal came on and stayed on. Will not go off when I reset and if I hit the right signal the hazard lights flash. Suspect left switch. Any ideas, anyone? Greatly appreciate. (Have tried WD-40..... No!)

I think you are correct. The left switch is stuck on or shorted out causing the flashers to come on when you hit the right switch. Shouldn't be a big problem.

Thanks for the faith!! I took the switch off, cleaned it, and sprayed it with no sucess. Guess it's time for a new one. Thanks again.

This is not the first story I have heard about Sporty left turn signals with a mind of their own, buut I haven't seen an answer yet.
