On 7 Aug, I traded in my 2004 Buell XB12R for a 2009 Fat Bob in Red Hot Sunglo. Got tired of being cramped up on the small Buell. Love the FXDF look and ride! Did a few mods during the first week:
--XIED's
--Wrapped pipes w/ header wrap
--Punched out baffles (3/8")
--Re-routed breather tube to atmo via catch can (hose) and mini-air filter
Now runs much cooler with improved throttle response. Next step is to install side plates and low sissy bar w/pad, airfoil front pegs w/ heel rests, rear fender rack. Looking at saddle bags for down the road.
Normally a change to pipes and air cleaner, U need to have some sort of FM.
Not sure what U did to the AC, never heard of what U did. So just keep an eye on Ur plugs to make sure Ur not running to lean.. Also not sure how she's running cooler with Ur mods wihtout changing the A/F ratio. Just saying as a word of caution...
Congrats on your bike and Welcome to the forum.
