Hello from Virginia to all. In 2008, I finally got me a Harley. It was a used 1999 Dyna Wide Glide. Love the bike. About a month ago, it went south on me. I was riding down the road about 20 miles from home and it just cut off. About 30 minutes later, it finally started again but only ran for about 2 minutes then died again. About an hour later, it started again and ran for about 2 minutes and died again. No spark. I replace the coil but did not help. I have checked all the wiring including the connector under the cam cover and can not find anything wrong with it. I figure it has to be either the cam sensor or the ignition module. From what I can determine, this is a common problem with the 99+ carburated 88 engines on Dynas. Before I spent $200+ for an ignition module, I was just wondering if anyone has any knowledge of this problem and can throw a few hints or tips my way.
