Just a quick note to introduce myself. Returning rider after "several" years between scooters. Picked-up my '97 Softail Classic last evening. Whistle clean, one owner, 10,000 miles, $10K.
Just starting the adventure and will be checking this board often. Getting registration squared away today and checking out our local HD dealer and a local shop for service work. Scoot needs a 10K service, set of tires (for peace of mind) and a look at the front end. Getting a shimmy at 35-40mph. Seems to me to be neck bearings, wheel bearings, balance or maybe even the windshield. Need a pro to sort it out. Otherwise I have a love-bug covered smile a mile wide.
