Hello! 1983 Roadster Ironhead
Hi Everyone!
I just bought an 83 Roadster Ironhead XLS 1000cc. It's a nice looking bike and my first bike of my own. I absolutely love it.
My dream is to ride with my older brother as this is something I've never gotten to do unless I was hanging off the back of his.
Anyway I was wondering if anyone can give me information on this particular model.
At the moment it has a kickin' mini bob tank on it but I do have the original and was considering putting my girl back like she came originally.
Before I decide I have been searching for info on this model. It seems I get alot of interest on the bike (at least thats the claim) but I can't find out what makes her so special.
Any HD Geeks out there with the info I need?

The Roadster in 83 actually came with a fat bob tank. Very similar to the FXR tank of that era. It was a variation of the Sportster and they only made them a couple of years.
