I am considering my first Harley Davidson being an FLTRI road glide.
Have ridden "metrics" less then 1000 ccs in my riding career, Most of my bikes have had some kind of frame mounted fairing. So I feel like it would be a good idea to stick with the geometry that I am familiar with. Further, I like the look of the FLTR fairing.
My main concern is that I seldom see them out and about, and it seems like the parts catalogs dont give this model much coverage. I dont know what bike is under the "skin". I assume it is a typical FL swing arm. Also I am concerned with the bike not being offered carburated, should I trust fuel injection on it? Can you say if there are any issues for the bike?
Welcome to the HDF, another new guy.Road glides are awesome bikes alot of power and comfort. It doesn`t matter carburated or fuel injection. You will enjoy it. Why not go to the dealer and test ride one and see what you think ! Good Luck from Steve in Az.
